West of Ireland Championship - 3 Year Extension of Sponsorship 

The 102^nd West of Ireland Championship is fast approaching. We are proud to continue our partnership with the West of Ireland as the Main Sponsor. Having previously sponsored the tournament for the last three editions, we are thrilled to announce we have extended our partnership with the West of Ireland Championship for another 3 years.

The West of Ireland Championship has been named one of the ‘Must See Golf Tournaments in Ireland for 2025’ by Irish Golf Tours. Action on the course begins on April 16^th consisting of a pre-tournament qualifier at County Sligo Golf Club. The main tournament then gets under way from Friday April 18^th to Tuesday 22^nd.

This is the first major amateur Championship of the year, which has also seen the previous success of household golfing names such as Rory McIlroy, and Shane Lowry. The Championship will take place on the iconic Harry Colt-designed Championship Course at County Sligo, located on the breathtaking Rosses Point Peninsula. This course is known for its spectacular closing holes, with 1980 runner-up and European Ryder Cup hero Philip Walton once describing it as having one of the best closing stretches in golf—starting at the sixth hole.

This year, players will experience some exciting changes to the course, thanks to phase one of a renovation project led by the highly regarded Mackenzie & Ebert design team. The updates include reshaped and redesigned bunkers on several holes, the removal of some bunkers and the addition of run-off areas on others, as well as a new green and tee box on the par-5 fifth hole.
